Traumas impact both our physical health as well as our emotional, cognitive, and spiritual health.  A medical trauma, whether an accident, an unexpected diagnosis, unsatisfactory progress or damaging treatment can impact us in deep ways—often bringing up feelings of betrayal towards those whom we sought to help us or from our own bodies themselves. Moving forward from a medical trauma means redefining who you are—this is not an easy process, but you are not alone. Our group explores what it means to move forward, over seemingly immeasurable obstacles at times, towards a path of self-discovery and self-acceptance.
This group is open to men and women who would like to understand the impact of their medical trauma, seek and offer support, and empower themselves to define a new way of being in the world.
