Meg Tobin, LMHC and Deborah Welsh, Ed.D, LMHC, LCAT
We believe that all of our life stories are stored in our bodies. When we are engaged in creative ways to express our stories - the hard parts, the joyful parts, the loving and not so loving parts, in safe and creative ways, we can create a new lens through which we see our true selves and the people, places and things in our lives - a new lens through which to view a road forward. Many people and experiences have authored the deep seated beliefs we carry and those beliefs act as the scripts of our lives. In many cases, we are held hostage by them.
Using experiential activities such as playback theater, psychodrama, improvisational theater, movement and voice experiences, EFT tapping, and guided imagery, we can tap into the unconscious ways we live our lives. In this day-long workshop, Deborah and Meg will gently guide and invite you to enter your story through a new door. Activities are designed to deepen your connection with your body's wisdom and to cast light into the shadows or forgotten joys.
Expect to leave with a more expansive understanding of the ways old stories run your life and hope to create real and lasting wisdom, perspective, and perhaps, even change in your narratives.
